hi, hello. i’m kristel.

My ADHD brain likes to sort my projects into separate spaces. This blog is just an extension of Sad But Rad Club, but focused specifically on my Sad But Rad Aventures.

Thank you for accompanying me on this journey!

The Basics

01. Document in real time: better done than perfect

This is my personal commitment to create content in tandem with my activities. Sometimes I sit on content for months because I’m worried it won’t be perfect. But like I tell my therapy clients, perfection is subjective and a moving goal post. For this, I’ll be focusing on “done” rather than “perfect.”

02. Permission to go at my own pace

As I mapped out my Dopamine Adventures List, its length began to stress me out. I started internally bargaining with myself about the timeline, only to remember that the purpose of this project is my pursuit of joy. So this list will be worked on at the pace that makes sense for me (and knowing me, I probably won’t go in order either).

03. The Dopamine Adventures List is Organic

I’m going to think of my list as a blueprint and one that I can adapt as needed. Activities may change, be added, or removed. I’m going to give myself the flexibility to be creative.
